“A Curious Quiet” offers three categories of artwork: abstract portraits, abstract landscapes, and ink on paper drawings. The portraits capture deliberate pauses with bold lines, while the landscapes depict distorted perspectives of nature inspired by childhood memories. The ink on paper drawings provide glimpses into the lives of quirky characters. Gail Gilbert, a self-taught artist and former dancer, infuses her work with wit and vibrant colors. Currently based in Las Vegas, Gilbert has exhibited her sculptures and drawings at various venues. On exhibit through Oct. 3.
