Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos

The Las Vegas Sinfonietta plans to perform an afternoon of Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos at the Clark County Library. UNLV Director of Orchestras Taras Krysa leads the professional chamber orchestra in bringing classical music performances to diverse audiences. The Brandenburg Concertos were dedicated to Margrave Ludwig in 1721, but weren’t published until 1850 after they were rediscovered in an archive. They’ve since been deemed worthy of inclusion on the Voyager Golden Record where they were sent into space among the most iconic pieces of music from human history.
