Bundle up and celebrate the holidays at the Water Street Plaza Amphitheater with Djangobells, a Django Reinhardt inspired holiday jazz concert. Featuring two talented jazz groups, Tatiana Eva-Maria and the John Jorgenson Quintet, this unique concert will be performed under the stars.
Tatiana Eva-Marie, is a Brooklyn-based singer and bandleader. Born and raised in Europe in a professional musical family, Tatiana Eva-Marie grew up equally fascinated by her father’s New Orleans jazz records, and her mother’s heritage of Klezmer and Gypsy folk music. Now nicknamed “the Gypsy-jazz Warbler” by the New York Times, she performs regularly in New York City, and around the world.
John Jorgenson is perhaps best known for his guitar work with the Desert Rose Band and The Hellecasters. He is also proficient in the mandolin, mandocello, Dobro, pedal steel, piano, upright bass, clarinet, bassoon, and saxophone.
