In celebration of Black History Month, 2023, Meow Wolf collaborated with Left of Center Art Gallery to represent African and African American culture and heritage. LOC Gallery emerging artists D.B., Chala Escobar, and Jesus Orozco live painted a custom mural inside Omega Mart in 6 hours under the direction of veteran LOC artists and professional designers, Adolfo Gonzalez and Harold Bradford.
The mural is their interpretation of the past and the future co-existing and the community that has gathered to make Left of Center Gallery a place many call home. The mural will be on display at Left of Center during the exhibition run through June 3.
