UNLV’s premier Jazz Ensemble 1 (directed by Dave Loeb and Nathan Tanouye) performs selections from its newest CD, Dreamlike, with pieces written and arranged by UNLV music faculty, current students, and alumni including the titular piece “Dreamlike” by Ricardo Arana and “Band-Aid” by Nathan Tanouye. The concert features special guest vocalists Laura Taylor and Don Cunningham and trombonist Isrea Butler, the new director of the UNLV School of Music.
