“Michael Orland & Friends Open Mic Night” will feature the Broadway Tony-Award winner from “Hairspray,” Marissa Jaret Winokur, and CW’s “All American” Ashley Argota Torres. This unique evening will also feature surprise guest singers as well as possibly you. Orland, who spent 16 years as American Idol’s pianist & vocal coach, welcomes performers to sing alongside him on stage. Showtunes, pop music, original songs, jazz standards – all are welcome. Guests who perform will be eligible to win a $200 gift card to The Smith Center, chosen by popular vote at the end of the show. A song list request form will be sent to ticketed patrons in the week prior to the performance. Student pricing starts at $25 for mezzanine seats.
