“Musings of the Mojave” is an exhibit of new paintings by Alina Lindquist, a plein air painter of the Mojave Desert. Working with oil and gouache paint, she creates dynamic compositions of the desert. Lindquist is a graduate of UNLV and participated in the study-abroad programs at Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand, and Universita degli Studi della Tuscia, Viterbo, Italy. She has previously exhibited her artwork at the Clark County Government Center, Charleston Heights Art Center, Fifth St. School, Mayor’s Gallery, UNLV, and Wetlands Park. On exhibit through October 1.
