Opportunity Village presents the 11th Annual OVation Variety Show, Evolution. Evolution features artists across multiple disciplines, including dance, theater, music, painting, and mixed media. Enjoy renditions of the 2001: A Space Odyssey theme, “Soul Kitchen” by The Doors, and a spin on The Beatles’ song “Revolution.” There’s also a medley featuring the songs “A Whole New World” and “Aquarius.” Audience members will be treated to contemporary and hip-hop dance numbers, and a scene from The Wizard of Oz.
A pre-event art walk highlighting the traveling, pop-up art show, ArtDaptive, kicks the evening off at 4:30 p.m. ArtDaptive is supported in part by the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment of the Arts and features art created with the reimagined use of adaptive equipment.
