The City of Henderson is partnering with the Nevada Shakespeare Festival for two free performances of R&J, a new take on Romeo & Juliet. Join a group of Shakespearean bandits for an all-ages romp through the greatest love story ever told — six actors, three and a half sword fights, two bottles of poison, a little bit of Bon Jovi, and the words of the world’s most beloved playwright promise to leave you, and possibly the cast, in stitches. Some seating is provided, but it’s best to bring your own chairs. Picnics are encouraged, and food trucks will be available.
