Voting is a fundamental right exercised by most Americans during Congressional elections when electing the President. However, there are other equally important elections like midterms, State, and local elections that significantly impact local communities and Congressional outcomes. Surprisingly, voter turnout for these elections remains low. This educational presentation aims to inform you about the Nevada Legislature, its basic functions, the process of turning State bills into laws, and how advocacy operates at the State Level. It does not advocate for specific bills, elected officials, or party affiliations.
