Twenty fingers are better than 10, as solo pianists Eva-Marie Zimmermann and Keisuke Nakagoshi of ZOFO have proven around the world, entertaining and amazing audiences from Carnegie Hall to the Sydney Opera Concert Hall. ZOFO (short for 20 Finger Orchestra, a Z looks a bit like a 2) embodies the piano four hands technique by seizing on contemporary music to create Grammy-nominated, prize-winning performances. ZOFORBIT: A Space Odyssey is set to include musical works by George Crumb, Gustav Holst, David Lang and Urmas Sisask.
