Oh my daub: Once the placid pastime of lonesome grannies with Social Security checks to burn, bingo is the latest cultural phenom to get the clubby-chaos treatment in Bingo Loco May 17 at Area 15. Confetti cannons, lip-synch contests, rave rounds, and dance-offs are just a few of the twists they've inked in.

THERE'S SOMETHING IN the air. It could be a bank of EDC molly fog peppering the Vegas air, or it could be spring officially snapping into place. Whatever it is, it's giving a certain je ne sais whatevz backspin to this week's happenings, from unbridled dance shows to loco bingo parties to tequila-fueled charity bashes. Breathe it in. Cheers! – Andrew Kiraly 🤍

Desert rhythm: It's EDC weekend, turning the Las Vegas Valley into a rainbow blender of 128 bpm oonsta and rhinestone carnival bras. (Unless you're hitting this secret abandoned warehouse rave.) Not your cup of GHB? Flee to the Joshua Tree Musical Festival May 15-18, a low-frills, high-quirk, and earthily eclectic fam-friendly jam featuring artists ranging from musical comedian Reggie Watts to techno-accordionist Grayssoker to the soul-drenched country blues of Lisa Sanders and Brown Sugar. 🧛 Embrace the suck

With its sodden dialogue, overwrought underacting, and flying-squirrel CGI Edward Cullen, Twilight was a vampire flick in more ways than one: You left the theater lightheaded and short a few IQ points. Now you can shave off a few more at the Twilight Drink-A-Long May 23-24 at The Beverly Theater, where you're encouraged to take a shot at every cringe moment, from the awkwardly intense stares to the overdramatic door-slams to, well, flying-squirrel CGI Edward Cullen taking to the air. Buy now and fang me later; tickets are going fast.
