Join international vocalist Alyssa Harris live in concert at the Summerlin Library paying tribute to iconic record labels Motown & Stax. This high-energy show features classic songs that have become the soundtrack to our lives, from the unforgettable hits of The Temptations and Marvin Gaye to the soulful sounds of Otis Redding and Albert King. Alyssa Harris grew up singing in choir and performing in dance troupes. At age 18, she set out for Los Angeles where she completed her undergrad and cultivated her passions for singing, songwriting and performing. A few of her big roles include: Tina Turner in “Vegas! The Show,” and featured vocalist on FOX’s “I Can See Your Voice” where her performance was called “So beautiful!” by R&B/Soul music legend Dionne Warwick. She was featured on ESPN and lauded by sports fans for her stirring rendition of the “Star-Spangled Banner” for Austin Football Club. She also portrayed Princess Tiana as a principal vocalist and character in “Mickey & The Magical Map” at Disneyland.
