Charlene Stegman Moskal and Bruce Isaacson are Las Vegas-based poets who will read from their work.
Charlene Stegman Moskal is a Teaching Artist for the Poetry Promise organization in Las Vegas. She is also a visual artist, a performer, a voice for NPRโs Theme and Variations, as well as a writer. Woman Who Dyes Her Hair is the third and final in a series of chapbooks that deal with loss, grief and moving on.
Bruce Isaacson was the first Poet Laureate of Clark County, Nevada. He is also publisher of Zeitgeist Press, with one hundred sixteen titles to date. Bruce earned degrees at Claremont McKenna, Dartmouth, and Brooklyn College, where he submitted a thesis to noted American poet Allen Ginsberg. He is a founder of Poetry Promise, Inc., a non-profit that provides poetry programs in Clark County. In Anthems of the Doomed, Isaacson shows how it feels to be human in an age of the ghosted soul.
