In honor of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, the library is hosting a performance of “The Wonderful World of Was,” a musical dramedy written by L.A. Walker and Marcia Norris about a retired real estate developer who becomes a victim of dementia. The show follows the affects on his family and those around him. The goal of the Social Issues Theatre is to educate, validate, and offer hope, empathy, and support for caregivers and families faced with managing loved ones suffering from the effects of dementia.
