This dark comedy presents three grown siblings who face a family tragedy. Events are put into motion by a dog and some dynamite, but that is only the beginning as layers of family relationships keep being peeled away. Naomi, the eldest, is cynical and desperate. Matt, the middle sibling, is a hapless sort who is always trying to do his best with solidly bizarre results. Charlotte, the youngest sibling, has found strength and belonging in her faith. As they deal with the condition of their mother in the aftermath of the explosion, the rest of their lives hang in the balance fueled by beer and doughnuts. By Sean Clark.
