“Hija/e/o/x(s) de Su” closing reception

Hija/e/o/x(s) de Su is an art exhibition and opening reception at the Nuwu Art Gallery + Community Center. Hija/e/o/x(s) de Su— unites the Latina/e/o/x art communities of Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada. Hija/e/o/x (s) de Su— grants the audience access to these moments of joy, rebellion, tragedy, and mischief to find commonality through shared experiences.

In addition to these themes, the idea of curation as an art form is explored in Mujeres Mágicas, a special project within the overall exhibition. Mujeres Mágicas is a collaboration between artist Emmanuel Muñoz and the ceramicist, Kristy Moreno. Curated by Geovany Uranda, Cesar Piedra and Scrambled Eggs. On exhibit through December 7.
