Kemet in the Desert

On Friday, Feb. 9, join keynote speaker Ilia “Rashad” Muhammad at Kemet in the Desert weekend lecture series, hosted by Executive Director Oscar Robinson. Ilia “Rashad” Muhammad is an educator and author of “UFOs and the Nation of Islam: The Source, Proof and Reality of The Wheels,” and “Exposing The War Against Islam.”  More recently he has produced the independent documentary series, “Answered,” which highlights data pertaining to the UFO phenomena and its relevance to Black and indigenous people.

Come back Saturday for keynote speaker Dr. Anika Daniels-Osaze, who has studied Ancient Egypt (Kemet) for 30 years, focusing on language, spirituality, and ancient medicine. The SUNY Downstate Associate Dean holds degrees from Cornell, New York University and Northeastern. In addition to her work at SUNY, she serves as a volunteer for the African Genesis Institute, where she has conducted lectures and tours to Kemet annually for students and adults. With her husband, she has taken more than 3,000 people to the African continent. Together they co-founded the Center for the Restoration of Ma’at, an institute teaching ancient African history.
