Mob Museum 12th Anniversary Free Day

February 14

Free

Join The Mob Museum to mark the Museumโ€™s 12th anniversary with a free day for Nevada residents. Non-residents will receive buy-one, get-one admission.

โ€‹To commemorate the anniversary, step back in time with an exclusive showcase of the two Thompson submachine guns that were used in the infamous St. Valentineโ€™s Day Massacre on February 14, 1929. That Valentineโ€™s Day, seven members and associates of the North Side bootlegging gang were lined up against a wall and shot to death by assassins believed to have been hired by Al Capone. These historic firearms will be on display for all to see.

Donโ€™t miss the opportunity to engage with members of the Berrien County, Michigan, Sheriffโ€™s Department, where the firearms currently reside. Theyโ€™ll be on hand to share insights, discuss the historical significance of the firearms and answer any questions guests may have.

โ€‹In addition, other St. Valentineโ€™s Day Massacre-related artifacts from our extensive collection will be accessible, providing a captivating glimpse into this pivotal moment in history.

The List relies on you to cover our expenses and pay our hard-working curators. Become a supporter today!
