Celebrate National Birding Day at the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve. Staff will offer free bird tours on the bird mobile. Tours will be scheduled every hour until noon. Expect experts on-site to answer your questions. Located within the Water Reclamation Facility, the preserve sits on approximately 140 acres. It is home to thousands of migratory waterfowl as well as numerous resident desert birds. There are nine ponds available for birding, surrounded by five miles of trail that are both paved and soft surfaces.
