Quilts Around the World, the Desert Quilters’ annual quilt show, is the perfect way to mark National Quilting Month, celebrating the 5,400-year-old art of quilting. Witness the labor of love sewn into more than 250 quilts. Vendors will be at the event with quilted goods for sale, and food trucks will be available onsite. There will be free demonstrations for those new to quilting to learn quilting and design techniques. Quilts of Valor will be presented to local veterans to honor their service on Friday, March 15, from 3 to 5 p.m. Daily tickets are $9 in advance and $10 at the door.
