Reception for “Displaced and Disregarded”

According to artist Samantha Giddens, this exhibit has two parts, both dealing with struggle, loss, and being disregarded. As more houses are built, our native fauna and flora are pushed out of their homes and forced to find new habitats. Many of these habitats are full of trash, creating unsafe living environments. Meanwhile, the lack of affordable housing in the valley forces many already displaced and disregarded homeless individuals to live in unsafe environments.
