Local dancers and the Las Vegas Shimmy Mob plan to share their passion for dance as they join ensembles in more than 200 cities around the world celebrating World Belly Dance Day. The annual mass dance event is dedicated to raising awareness and supplies for victims of domestic violence. In Las Vegas, the group strives to help Safe Nest. They’re collaborating together to create change one shimmy at a time. Admission is free and open to the public. Seating is first-come and limited.
