Join Zion’s Youth Symphony & Chorus as they present “Joseph Smith the Prophet,” a musical presentation of the life and mission of the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, tracing his path from his first vision to his death at the hands of a mob. This groundbreaking work by composer Rob Gardner features new arrangements of “The Spirit of God,” “A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief,” and “Praise to the Man.” Performed by a talented 90-piece orchestra and 160-member chorus, the presentation is conducted by Music Director David Skouson, and features soloists Ezekial Andrew, Melinda Pfundstein, and more.
