😢 Goodbye | Comic fest | Schlocky Rocky | Honk-oween | Horn dude | Skate art | Robot giraffe
I WISH THIS were a Halloween trick, but I'm bummed to announce that this is the last issue of The List.
Oh, it's not you, it's me. My wife has accepted an awesome job in San Antonio and an exciting new chapter beckons in Texas. (Meaning, among other things, I get to wear a bolo tie unironically.)
I've had an utter blast working with fellow curators Eric Duran-Valle, Ginger Meurer, Scott Dickensheets, Poly Schmitt, Lille Allen, Niki Sligar, Mar Smith, and my wife Kim Treviño-Kiraly to bring you a pun-studded wall o' text every week highlighting the coolest things to do in my rad hometown. I hope The List has helped you connect more deeply with Las Vegas' rich cultural and creative currents that are so often eclipsed by the spectacle of the Strip.
Supporting Sponsors and premium members, I'm deeply grateful for your invaluable support. Your subscription payments will be canceled this week. (Or, if you prefer, you can do it yourself here.) If you're on an annual plan and would like a prorated refund, hit me at [email protected] and we'll make it happen. Of course, you can also send rants, raves, and hyperventilating farewell encomia.
Enough housekeeping. What a scary good week of events we've got! – Andrew Kiraly 🤍
