September 27-29: It's almost time for the Las Vegas Greek Food Festival, an explosion of music, dance, art, carnival games and, of course, tons of authentic Greek foods from homemade baklava and dolmades to souvlaki, Greek fries, gyros and more. The best deal is to buy a coupon book in advance. For $25 you get $31 in value to be used toward any food or beverage. Coupon books can be purchased online or at the church office. Be sure to research parking and shuttle options in advance, because there's no parking near St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church.
San Gennaro Feast
September 18-22: Celebrate all things Italian as the M Resort hosts The San Gennaro Feast. Billed as the biggest Italian and international food festival in the Las Vegas Valley, the festival also features music, amusement park rides, games and arts & crafts vendors.
A close shave for a cause
September 14: McMullan's Irish Pub is hosting a St Baldrick's Foundation shave fundraiser for the 25th year. Cant make it to watch the curls fall to raise funds to fight childhood cancer? A live stream on Twitch will kick off around 11 a.m.
A Night of Wonder
September 21: Get your tickets for "A Night of Wonder," featuring Mark G. Meadows celebrating the musical genius of Stevie Wonder in a concert filled with piano and song at the Water Street Amphitheater. Mark has headlined at top venues form the Lincoln Center to the Kennedy Center. He also serves as the associate music director and piano player for "The Outsiders" musical.
Go Bananas with Los Plátanos
September 21: Los Plátanos, a high-energy Latin funk band plans a free all-ages concert at the Windmill Library.
On Broadway at Myron's
September 21: "On Broadway" Sirius XM Host Seth Rudetsky is set to be joined by fellow "On Broadway" host Christine Pedi for an intimate concert at Myron's in The Smith Center. Expect behind-the-scenes stories mixed with humor and packed with performances, including tunes Christine sang around the world during her years starring in "Forbidden Broadway." Did we mention she once sang as Carol Channing for Carol Channing and played Elaine Stritch alongside Elaine Stritch?
Hobbit happening
September 22: Help ring in Bilbo and Frodo Baggins's birthdays with themed snacks, riddles, trivia and decor in celebration of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit." The free Sahara West Library event is open to all ages, but space is limited.

Now-November 9: "Scream'd: An Unauthorized Musical Parody" is back and just as bludgeony as ever. Written and directed by Majestic's own Troy Heard, with music arrangements by Brandon Scott Grayson and choreography by Noah Rivera, the show features a pop playlist accompanied by a live band.
Now-September 22: The Smith Center hosts "The Cher Show," a Tony Award-winning musical packed with 35 of Cher's hits documenting six decades of her star power. Disclosure: Cher herself does not appear in the show. But if you're willing to settle for tributes decked out in Bob Mackie gowns, you'll be dazzled.
