September 12-22 Eric's Trip 🎸 Many Things Wicked This Way Come
IT'S BEEN AN interesting week in the music world. R&B/Funk legend Frankie Beverly passed away; in one of her trademark calculated and precise social media posts, Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris right after the debate last Tuesday; and camp glam queen Chappell Roan won the award for Best New Artist at the MTV VMAs.
Theoretically, it should be getting cooler in Vegas, which sets in motion the fall music season. There'll be plenty of festivals to talk about in the weeks ahead, but right now we have some acts priming us for Spooky Szn.
Most of the picks this week lean into the alternative and punk realms, so get your Goth makeup and studded bracelets ready!
