Join Kathy Klein for birding at Spring Mountain Ranch. Although migration has died down, this is an opportunity to see summer visitors and local birds nesting and fledging their young.
Participants will walk two trails with easy to moderate difficulty for 2 to 3 miles, depending on the interests of the group. Participants need to wear shoes appropriate for uneven ground. Additionally, please remember to bring sunscreen, plenty of water, snacks for yourself, binoculars, and appropriate clothing for the day (such as a hat and layers to adjust as the day warms up and to protect you from the desert sun).
