City of Henderson plans a Cinco de Mayo celebration staring El Santo Golpe, a band that features traditional instruments and dances inspired by Mexican folklore with an Afro-Latin influence. On the plaza, enjoy Mexican cuisine and drinks from local food truck favorites. Mariachi Oro de Rancho (from Rancho High School) will get the festivities started with a preshow at 5 p.m. on the plaza. Doors open for the amphitheater at 5:45 p.m. El Santo Golpe performs at 6 p.m. Translated as The Mighty Hit, El Santo Golpe was formed by a group of friends, family, and fellow artists in Riverside, California, in 2016.
