Diana Fedorak: Children of Alpheios

Diana Fedorak plans to talk about the what-if allure of science fiction with library audiences. Diana is a speculative fiction writer whose debut novel, “Children of Alpheios,” was released by The Wild Rose Press in early 2023. Set on planet Eamine within a genetically engineered colony, the book follows a young mother, who finds herself up against the colony’s central corporation when she discovers they want to exploit her baby’s remarkable DNA. The Las Vegas author was born in Saigon, South Vietnam, and grew up in a Pan Am Airways family that frequently traveled overseas. Her prior career was serving an officer in the United States Air Force.
