The city of Henderson invites all to celebrate America’s birthday with a free concert in the park featuring Little Texas. The band is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its sophomore breakthrough album “Big Time.” During its heyday, Little Texas won the Academy of Country Music Award for Top Vocal Group of 1993 and racked up 12 Top-20 singles (with seven Top-10s) including “Some Guys Have All the Love,” “Amy’s Back In Austin,” “Kick a Little,” “You and Forever and Me.” Gates open at 6 p.m. Little Texas plays at 7:30 p.m. And if you’re looking for the perfect place to watch fireworks set off at 9 p.m. by the M Resort, Green Valley Ranch and Lake Las Vegas, this is it. Also expect games, foam fun, water blaster tag, corn hole, face painting and food vendors.
