In partnership with the Mexican Consulado in Las Vegas, the city of Henderson is hosting a free viewing of four short films. Bring picnic, chairs and friends for a special viewing on the Water Street Plaza. Light concessions will be available for purchase. All ages are welcome. Spanish language films planned include: “Camila,” a film about a shy 12-year-old artist; “El último cantador,” a tale of the last of the rainmakers; “Gina,” which follows a little girl who was born with a chicken suit and longs to dance; and “Mujer de Tierra,” which shares the testimonies of a group of women embroiderers.
