This exhibit features new, large, “ferocious urban paintings” by A Corporate Spy. A Corporate Spy is an artist who lives in Las Vegas. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama, where the unique culture of the city influenced his art. As a teenager, he and his gang used abandoned buildings as canvases to create imaginative images. At the age of sixteen, he moved north with his mother to experience more of the world. He traveled to different cities and soaked up their unique styles and cultures. Eventually, he moved to Los Angeles, where he learned the importance of light and color in art. Finally, he found his home in Las Vegas, where the vast desert provides a giant blank canvas for him to create his art. “Supervivencia” is on exhibit at the Sahara West Library until May 20, 2023.
