Titus Andronicus in the Park

March 28 at 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

$5 – $25

Nevada Shakespeare is headed to a giant circus tent in Wigwam Park for a massive production of the story of honor, family and misplaced loyalties, “Titus Andronicus.” Believed to be one of Shakespeare’s most produced plays during his lifetime, this adaptation of the play will be presented in the style of a grindhouse film; act one as a slasher and act two as a revenge thriller. Expect a stylized presentation with lots of action that may not be appropriate for children under age 13. Talk back conversations with the cast and artistic team will take place after both Friday night performances. Directed and adapted by Matthew Morgan, the play is set to feature Daz Weller, Cheryl Daro, Erik Amblad, Amanda Guardado, Brandon Alan McClenahan, Joshua Berg, Ryan Ruckman, Jamey Clay Brown, Matthew Morgan, Heidi Brucker Morgan, Christopher Aguilar, Dominic Lamont Graber-Pritchford and Napsugar Hegedus. Ticket prices range from $5 for students to $25 for VIP seating. On April 3 only there’s a limited number of pay-what-you-can tickets.
