The Windmill Library is pulling out all the stops to help teens learn about significant Black figures, past and present, in an interactive scavenger hunt across the teen zone every day throughout Black History Month. Activities are intended for youth in grades 6-12.
Performers from Broadway and the Metropolitan Opera are set to sing pieces from "Phantom of the Opera" along with selections of Andrew Lloyd Webber compositions from "Cats," "Evita," "Jesus Christ Superstar," and Sunset Boulevard." The free show will feature soprano Rose Kingsley, tenor Allan Glassman and conductor Gregory Buchalter.
