The UNLV Jazz Concert Series features performances by exceptional groups from the UNLV School of Music, Division of Jazz and Commercial Music. These student musicians have received over twenty DownBeat Magazine Student Music Awards since 2010 which is considered among the highest recognition in Jazz education worldwide.
Performers from Broadway and the Metropolitan Opera are set to sing pieces from "Phantom of the Opera" along with selections of Andrew Lloyd Webber compositions from "Cats," "Evita," "Jesus Christ Superstar," and Sunset Boulevard." The free show will feature soprano Rose Kingsley, tenor Allan Glassman and conductor Gregory Buchalter.
